In this article, we profile the top 50 most affordable online master’s in project management degrees of 2019.

According to the United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of management occupations is projected to grow eight percent through the year 2026. This increase is driven by the formation of businesses and the expansion of existing organizations. Project managers will be needed to lead teams that benefit the organization. This specialized management field requires advanced training, which master’s in project management online degree programs offer.

To be considered for our list of the most affordable online master’s in project management programs, an institution must be regionally accredited and offer at least one master’s in project management online. We also considered accredited schools that offered an online MBA in project management. We looked at over 200 accredited colleges and universities and narrowed our search by choosing the 50 most affordable institutions. In an attempt to further narrow our selections, we included schools that had received at least one ranking from a major publication like U.S. News and World Report. We collected data, such as graduate tuition and fees, from the National Center for Education Statistics – NCES College Navigator.
