About Doane University

Doane University was initially proposed by the General Association of Congregational Churches in 1857 but wasn’t opened until 14 years later. Creating the Crete Academy was pioneered by Thomas Doane, a prominent engineer for the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad. The Academy become Doane College in 1872 before expanding its mission in 2016 as a four-year private, nonprofit liberal arts university. Doane University Accreditation Details

Consistently since 1913, Doane University has been reaffirmed by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (HLC-NCA). This regional agency is recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to review schools in 19 Midwest states, including Nebraska. Doane University Application Requirements

Foreign students need to certify their English competency with a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 75 or IELTS score of 6.0. Master’s courses generally require an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0. The Online MBA doesn’t require the GMAT exam, but the average score is 500. The Online Master of Education program mandates a current teaching certificate and two years of classroom experience.

Doane University has a rolling admission process, yet the final deadline for Fall enrollment is August 1st. The Application for Admission is generally free, but graduates like Master of Arts in Counseling applicants are charged fees up to $125. Please also attach the following:
