To narrow our original pool of schools, we only considered programs with no GRE requirement for admission. We further narrowed our original pool of schools by applying the following criteria: accreditation (national or regional), institution rankings with a major publication like U.S. News and World Report, and affordable graduate tuition and fees less than $38,000 per year. We then ranked our findings according to raw affordability.
