The undergraduate program follows a liberal arts method of teaching. All students take Core Curriculum courses that act as the framework for categorized knowledge. About Wesley College

Wesley College was founded in 1873 as a preparatory school. Located on a humble 50 acres in Dover, Delaware, Wesley College is comfortably tucked away in a residential area that has everything residents need within walking distance. Dover, Delaware is home to several pre-Revolutionary War sites and also hosts the Dover Air Force Base as well as the Downs International Speedway. Dover hosts a small-town feel but still has a restaurant scene and entertainment options for those who dwell in the town. For students who are eager to visit a larger city, Dover is within proximity to urban hubs like New York City, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.

Wesley College is home to 1,500 students who are matched with a 15 to 1 faculty ratio. The student body is comprised of 21 American states and six international countries. Students have access to a plethora of experiences both on campus and beyond the nation’s borders. The study abroad program offers over 50 countries to travel to. Life on campus boasts a number of organizations and clubs to become a member of including Student Government, Greek Like, intramural sports and other special interest groups. For those who enjoy community participation, Wesley College offers several volunteering groups and opportunities. The volunteer groups are formed on campus and partner with other charter schools to create a large group of service workers. Wesley College’s 18 athletic teams participate at the NCAA Division III levels and are members of the Atlantic East Conference. The football team is a member of the NJAC.

Wesley College Application Requirements

Undergraduate students should submit a completed application, SAT or ACT scores, a satisfactory GPA, official high school transcripts and a $25 application fee. When applying to Wesley, prospective students are encouraged to showcase their abilities and personalities. Wesley prefers to evaluate applicants as a whole person versus just observing the application.

Prospective graduate students should provide a completed application, official transcripts from an accredited college or university that showcases an earned baccalaureate degree, two letters of recommendation, and a $25 application fee. Graduate students should view their program of choice for more supplemental documents that may be required to submit along with the application.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Undergraduate tuition is $26,406 per year or $13,203 per semester. Students can select from several housing options including double occupancy rooms, suites or the Honors House. Each of these campus housing options has its own distinct prices and will change the overall tuition price. All students who reside on campus are required to purchase a meal plan option. Meal plan prices range from $2,712 to $5,899 per year.

Part-time undergraduate students who are taking 11 credit hours or less with the Day Program will pay $1,100 per credit hour. For those who are evening students, or are members of the Dover Air Force Base, tuition will be $250 per credit hour. Undergraduate students who will be participating in Summer courses will pay $258 per credit hour.

Graduate students will pay $600 per credit hour. For those who are Graduate-OT, tuition will be $1,000 per credit hour.

At Wesley College, undergraduate students can apply for financial aid in the form of a loan, grant, scholarship, on-campus employment, or work-study programs. Wesley College provides 99% of undergraduates with either a scholarship or grant of at least $15,260.
