Jacksonville University Application Requirements

Undergraduate students seeking admissions should meet the following eligibility requirements: a completed application from either the university portal or the Common App, a satisfactory weighted GPA, satisfactory SAT or ACT scores, official high school transcripts, and a financial aid form. International students must submit English language proficiency test scores from an ETS-TOEFL or IELTS test. All students must pay the $30 application fee.

Graduate students who are applying for admissions to specific programs should consult the admissions page for their department. Some of the programs at Jacksonville University have supplemental documents that must be submitted along with the application. In general, students should submit a completed application, satisfactory GRE, GMAT or MCAT scores, official institutional transcripts from an accredited college or university, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement of academic goals. The graduate application fee is $50. International graduates should supply the admissions office with English language proficiency test scores.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Undergraduate students who are enrolled in full-time credit hours will pay $38,140. Students who are taking more than 18 credit hours will pay $625 for each additional credit added to their schedule. Traditional undergraduate students who are considered part-time students or are taking less than 12 credit hours will pay $1,275 per credit hour. All of the residence halls on campus cost $9,200. Students who wish to live in a single room will pay an extra $1,000 per term. Jacksonville University offers a variety of meal plan options that range from $2,660 to $5,130. Each year, students will pay a select amount of fees for student support and health insurance.

Graduate tuition varies based on the program of choice. Students will pay anywhere from $500 to $950 per credit hour. Students who are participating in online courses will pay anywhere from $315 to $800 per credit hour. Graduates will have to pay other fees as well as they pertain to their program and campus needs.
