Davidson College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCC). This regional accreditation makes Davidson College qualified to award bachelor’s degrees in a wide range of subjects. An accreditation period for schools approved by the SACSCC lasts 10 years, and Davidson College must maintain a very high standard of academic rigor to remain accredited during that time.
