Doctoral students must provide proof of a master’s degree. Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required. Some Capella degree programs have other application and admission requirements. These may include a faculty interview, a writing sample or essay, a resume or curriculum vitae, letters of recommendation, or forms and documents disclosing work experience, background, and licensure information.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Students pursuing online master’s degrees can expect to pay between $440-$815 per credit depending on the program chosen. Those on the FlexPath option will pay $2,470-$2,875 each 12-week billing session. Students should also account for additional fees such as those for the application, transcripts, prior learning assessments, and lodging for residencies.
